He also missed out on the Premier League which he should of won and has also picked up European Darts Grand Prix, PDC European Darts Open, PDC German Darts Championship, three UK Open Qualifiers and a Players Championship in Milton Keynes and if he wins against either Joe Cullen or Kim Huybrechts he will join a club that includes Phil Taylor, MVG and John Part.
Wright won 6-3 against Ron Meulenkamp who had never reached a PDC Quarter-Final before that point and ended a brilliant weekend for the Bomb who’s form brought him so close to the European Championship. He averaged nearly 106 compared to Wright’s 103 but it was Peter’s experience that counted as he is through to yet another final.
