The last 16 line-up has been confirmed at Players Championship 20 and it will see the likes of Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price and Rob Cross all through but joined by surprise names including Jose Justicia, Christian Kist and Jan Dekker.

Justicia dumped out number one seed Ian White. The Spaniard edged out ‘Diamond’ in a 6-4 win which saw him put in yet another good performance to average just shy of 100.

Wright and Price were superb in wins over Matt Clark and Dirk van Duijvenbode with both players averaging 103. Adrian Lewis also came through a brilliant clash with Luke Humphries which saw an exhibition of scoring from ‘Jackpot’.

Kist continued his roll by taking out Dave Chisnall having previously seen off Gary Anderson and Dekker who hasn’t had a great run on the ProTour for quite some time eased past Mensur Suljovic.

With it being a mix of surprise names and well-known players, it will be an interesting conclusion to today’s proceedings at Barnsley Metrodome.
