Gary Anderson has made it three consecutive finals and he will be hoping to make it 3 consecutive titles as he made it 20 games unbeaten. He will face Jeffrey de Zwaan who had to survive match darts to defeat Adrian Lewis in the other semi-final.
Anderson himself defeated Dave Chisnall 6-1 to continue his red-hot form. He averaged 105.6 in his victory to move through to another Players Championship final. This backs up what he has said previously and that is to not write him off.
De Zwaan is his opponent; the Dutchman like alluded to had to survive match darts in a last-leg thriller with Adrian Lewis. He has reached his second final of the year after reaching a final of a UK Open Qualifier.
That day he lost out to Gary Anderson and will be hoping not to suffer the same fate in a little while when they face off. This shows superb form for the ‘Black Cobra’ who is finally living up to his undoubted potential.
Jeffrey de Zwaan 6 | 5 Adrian Lewis
