A pair of Poles tasted success at the Eastern European qualifiers for the European Tour.
Krzysztof Ratajski and Tytus Kanik won four of the five qualifying events between them. Tamas Alexits was the other player to win through in Budapest. Kanik was victorious in the first and third events. It has been a successful month for the 33-year-old, who won one of the four European Q-School tournaments. He will enter the European Tour events in Leverkusen and Saarbrucken.
Compatriot Ratajski won the second and fifth events. The World Masters champion, who played in the PDC World Championship, also qualifies for two events in Germany. He will play in Munich and Sindelfingen. The Eagle won 11 of the 12 Eastern European qualifiers last year, and earned a spot at the European Championship Finals.
Alexits was the only non-Polish winner across the weekend. The Lithuanian claimed victory in the fourth event, and will compete in a European Tour tournament for the first time. Alexits will play in the Austrian Darts Open in Vienna.
