Gerwyn Price has claimed his first ever win in the Premier League to begin his second campaign in a brilliant performance against Daryl Gurney.

Price won 7-4 with a 104 average as well as six 180’s with the Grand Slam Champion not shirking from his celebrations despite his recent DRA fine and suspended ban.

Gurney began the contest going two-nil ahead but in the second leg he began to find his stride with a 180.

From there he won five legs on the bounce hitting a 108 average for the best portion of the match.

‘Superchin’ stopped the rot finding double 20 to go only two legs behind.

Despite that ‘The Iceman’ claimed a point and then went for the win capping off a brilliant display.
