Gerwyn Price and Joe Cullen are the first players through to the Quarter-Finals at the Danish Darts Open as the afternoon session on the final day begins in Copenhagen.
Price moved through to the Quarter-Finals with a crushing 6-2 victory over Stephen Bunting which saw him average 99 and hit four 180’s.
‘The Iceman’ opened up a 3-1 advantage early doors after both players exchanged the first two legs but the catalyst was a 105 checkout.
Bunting hit back but Price soon regained a two-leg lead and from there broke again and followed that up with a hold to claim the win.
Cullen on the other hand came through in a 6-4 victory over Peter Wright with a 95 average and four 180’s en route.
It was close throughout between the pair with it ending up at 3-3 half-way through after Cullen claimed the early break but it was cancelled out.
Missed darts at doubles though hampered ‘Snakebite’s progress and Cullen pounced to move 4-3 up and break again.
Wright applied the pressure but Cullen hit double 16 to go one away and from there he claimed the victory to move into his second European Tour Quarter-Final of the season.
