Gerwyn Price and Daryl Gurney played out a draw to bring their playoff hopes to the final week but that wasn’t the main talking point.
The main talking point was Gurney and Price having words and having to be separated by security after the tie.
‘The Iceman’ spoke afterwards and admitted he didn’t know what happened and that with him having a month left on his suspended ban, they may be trying to get him banned.
‘I don’t understand what happened,’ said Price to Unibet.
‘He reckons I’m talking and I’m like If I want to gee myself up, I gee myself up. I wouldn’t do it when he was throwing.’
‘But each to their own, I’m accused of a lot of things. They know I’m on sort of curfew and have got a month or so left so I don’t know if they are trying to get me banned or whatever but it isn’t going to work.’
“I don’t know what he’s going to say or do but that’s down to him, people don’t like to play me for some reason.”
