Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen will resume their rivalry later tonight when they face off at the Premier League in Liverpool in what is a highly anticipated clash.

Price lost out to Van Gerwen in the final of the 2020 UK Open this past weekend despite being 5-1 up and he said that was the difference and from his perspective is the only barrier holding him back from being World Number One.

“It was a good weekend,” said Price ahead of their tie. “I probably dominated the final but just couldn’t pin doubles when it really mattered.

“That’s the way it goes sometimes – you’ve got to hit those doubles. If I hit my doubles, I believe I can be the best player in the world, but at the moment that’s Michael. We get on really well.”
