One of the next tournaments to come this weekend is the BDO West Midlands Open 2019 which takes place on Monday 26 August.

It could act as the last preparation for many players ahead of the World Trophy which begins next weekend in Blackburn. Nick Fullwell was the champion last year defeating Daniel Day in the final. This year the winner can claim £1,800 for winning the title.

The runner-up will receive £900; while the Semi-Finalists and Quarter-Finalists will receive £300 and £150 respectively. In the ladies, the winner will receive £800 with the runner-up getting £350. The Semi-Finalists and Quarter-Finalists will claim £150 and £60 respectively.
