Krzysztof Ratajski continued the first round and his hunt for a World Championship place by defeating former UK Open and World Grand Prix champion Robert Thornton. The newly crowned World Master averaged 98.88 in defeating ‘The Thorn’ 6-4 and will be a big threat this weekend for sure.
Vincent van der Voort dispatched a potential tricky opponent in the youngster Nico Blum who recently like Ratajski won the World Masters but the Boy’s version. ‘The Dutch Destroyer’ averaged 89 to Blum’s 90 in the 6-3 victory to move on through to round 2.
