The final league night is fast approaching in the Remote Darts League before the play-offs begin and James Richardson is back on top of the table.
This comes after the top clash with Jim Williams on Saturday night which saw Richardson prevail in a 7-5 win which means he has bounced back after being edged out by Tony O’Shea on Friday night.
He also capitalised on the previous league leader losing his first game of the tournament. Paul Hogan ended up being defeated 7-5 by Darryl Fitton in a win that was well deserved for the Stockport ace due to him going up 5-3 only to be sent to a decider.
He is now up to fifth place and could find himself into the play-offs by the end of Sunday night especially if Jim Williams falters.
There were also wins for Gary Robson 7-5 against John Walton and Alan Norris who saw off Dean Winstanley 7-2 as we reach ever closer to a conclusion in the Remote Darts League.
From Saturday, April 18, nine nights will be played to complete the league with the playoffs set to be played on Monday April 27.
