James Richardson is back on top in the Remote Darts League after extending his unbeaten run on Saturday night.
Richardson who claimed the initial iteration of the Remote Darts League whitewashed John O’Shea 6-0 with a 92 average to begin his campaign.
While he upped that further to hit a 115 average to defeat Lorraine Winstanley also in a whitewash in the performance of the tournament so far.
In this match, he hit 11 140’s and also 60% on his doubles in an excellent display. It wasn’t a clean sweep though as he went on to draw 5-5 with Darren Herewini but it was another excellent night for ‘Ruthless’.
In the first phase of the Remote Darts League which sees twenty evenings, all participants play against each other once. Four players are involved per night, with each player completing three matches. Matches are best of 10 legs, so a 5-5 draw is possible.
After twenty days of action, the top four in the league will advance to the playoffs, which are scheduled for Monday, June 8.
