James Richardson true to form is the first player to claim his spot in the Remote Darts League play-offs after remaining unbeaten after 12 matches.
Richardson who claimed the first iteration of the Remote Darts League now has a chance to make it back to back wins. He claimed victories over Joe Chaney (6-3), Thibault Tricole (6-3) and Stacey Pace (6-2) and he is now on 22 points with Paul Hogan on 20 points very likely to join him.
With four more nights ahead, he cannot leave the top four. It was a good night also for Chaney as he claimed victories over Tricole and Pace to move up to sixth in the table and only one point behind current fourth place player Richard Veenstra – as a result there is still a good chance we will see ‘The Chainsaw’ adorn the play-offs line-up.
In the first phase of the Remote Darts League which sees twenty evenings, all participants play against each other once. Four players are involved per night, with each player completing three matches. Matches are best of 10 legs, so a 5-5 draw is possible.
After twenty days of action, the top four in the league will advance to the playoffs, which are scheduled for Monday, June 8.
All matches can be viewed via this link . The broadcast starts daily at 9pm BST.
