The Quarter-Final line-up has started to take shape at the International Darts Open. James Richardson, Simon Whitlock and Darren Webster are the first players through.
Richardson saw off Ian White, the most recent European Tour winner. It was a 6-4 victory with a 96 average.
Both players were averaging around 105-110 for a lot of the clash in what was an entertaining contest.
Whitlock was clinical in his win over Steve Beaton. He hit a 102.4 average, six 180s and 66% on the doubles as he moved into the Quarter-Finals.
Webster finally moved into a European Tour Quarter-Final for the first time. He edged past Joe Cullen.
It was a 99 average and 4x 180’s and he will face either Mensur Suljovic or Danny Noppert.
