Rob Cross once again reached another Euro Tour final yesterday, his 2nd in only his debut season in the PDC in a losing effort like his first to Van Gerwen.
Cross has had a brilliant year capped off by another Players Championship win in the final double header this past week which put him to the top of the Order of Merit ahead of the Finals next month at Minehead which further underlines his form and his prowess which has also seen him power towards the higher echelons of the PDC and despite losing tonight Cross was upbeat and saw it as a learning experience which will enable him to get better.
“It wasn’t meant to be tonight,” admitted Cross. “Maybe I tried too hard instead of just letting them go.
“But we go forward, keep learning and keep getting better,” he added.Tags: European Darts Trophy 2017 | European Tour | Rob Cross
