The evening session is coming up in around an hours’ time at the European Darts Grand Prix. Some of the names involved include Michael van Gerwen, defending champion Peter Wright and World Champion Rob Cross.

Starting proceedings off is Daryl Gurney, the World Grand Prix champion who will face World Championship semi-finalist Jamie Lewis in what could be one of the ties of the second round.
The second game sees the Demolition Man, Darren Webster who could be in the world’s top 16 by Monday face Robert Marijanovic who caused one of the shocks of day 1 of the European Darts Grand Prix against Andy Boulton.
Mervyn King a former champion in Sindelfingen will face a former finalist there in the form of Paul Nicholson who played well in seeing off Dawson Murschell.
Mensur Suljovic starts his campaign off against Jamie Caven who played well yesterday in patches to see off Mareno Michels.
Michael van Gerwen will also kick off his campaign in red hot form after a 111 average on Thursday night in the Premier League, he faces the in-form Alan Tabern who nearly beat him last time they played a few weeks back.
Defending champion Peter Wright will face Kirk Shepherd who dumped out Stephen Bunting yesterday. John Henderson the birthday boy will have a tough test against James Wade who put in a typical Machine performance yesterday against Max Hopp.
Finally Rob Cross will play Vincent van der Voort with ‘The Dutch Destroyer’ looking to dump out the World Champion and he has every chance if he plays like he did in beating Steve Lennon yesterday.
