The action continues on Friday night in the Remote Darts League with the first phase continuing with Jim Williams and Lorraine Winstanley among those involved.

Williams will hope to use having his first night on Thursday to build a bit of form; after joining David Cameron and John O’Shea both on one win and two draws when he takes to the oche once again tonight.

There is double American representation tonight as ‘The Chainsaw’ Joe Chaney (7th) and former World Matchplay champion Larry Butler (10th) are both involved; they will face off in a battle which will see a good rivalry between the duo.

The line-up is completed by Lorraine Winstanley (14th) who will hope to claim her first points later this evening after three defeats on her opening night.

In the first phase of the Remote Darts League which sees twenty evenings, all participants play against each other once. Four players are involved per night, with each player completing three matches. Matches are best of 10 legs, so a 5-5 draw is possible.

After twenty days of action, the top four in the league will advance to the playoffs, which are scheduled for Monday, June 8.
