The action continues in the second iteration of the Remote Darts League into the seventh night with Tony O’Shea and Richard Veenstra both in action tonight.
O’Shea was in the final four last time out but didn’t have the best start to proceedings on his opening evening with one win and two defeats and he currently sits 11th in the table albeit it due to most of the players ahead of him having played six games.
Veenstra has a similar record but going into Sunday has one of everything, a win, a draw and a defeat and he will hope to add to his three points he has accrued so far to get him up the table.
Speaking of accruing points, Darren Herewini will hope to get his first. The WDF World Cup Singles Champion lost all three games on his opening night and his aim will be to get on the board first and foremost.
Same can be said for Stacey Pace who also is not in the points column at the moment and sits behind Herewini in 14th place.
In the first phase of the Remote Darts League which sees twenty evenings, all participants play against each other once. Four players are involved per night, with each player completing three matches. Matches are best of 10 legs, so a 5-5 draw is possible.
After twenty days of action, the top four in the league will advance to the playoffs, which are scheduled for Monday, June 8.
