John O’Shea and Paul Hogan have confirmed their spots in the Remote Darts League play-offs alongside James Richardson and Richard Veenstra with only one more night of action to go.
O’Shea had a nervous wait due to finishing his campaign on Saturday and having Jim Williams able to catch him still. Despite that, Williams did not win three times to claim it and as a result, the reigning World Master is through.
Richardson secured overall victory in the regular phase after retaining his unbeaten status defeating Williams (6-2), Hogan (6-2) and Tony O’Shea (6-2).
As a result, ‘Ruthless’ who won the first iteration of the Remote Darts League will begin play-off night against Paul Hogan while Richard Veenstra will take on Tony O’Shea, with of course the final to follow.
In the first phase of the Remote Darts League which sees twenty evenings, all participants play against each other once. Four players are involved per night, with each player completing three matches. Matches are best of 10 legs, so a 5-5 draw is possible.
After twenty days of action, the top four in the league will advance to the playoffs, which are scheduled for Monday, June 8.
All matches can be viewed via this link . The broadcast starts daily at 9pm BST.
