Michael Smith has made a great start to the year. The Bully Boy is unbeaten in the Premier League and has shown good form on the ProTour.

Smith next though has one of his toughest tests in this years Premier League: the World Champion Rob Cross.

He spoke ahead of their clash and he admits he knows it’s going to be tough. But that he is aiming to improve and reach his best.

“It should be a really good game,” said Smith. “Rob’s had an amazing year and he’s come back into form so I know it’s going to be tough.

“I still don’t feel I’ve been at my best yet so I’m aiming to improve, but so far I’ve been taking my chances and I’ll be trying to do the same this week.”
