Jeff Smith claimed the North American Championship last year and reached the final this time around losing out to the impressive Danny Baggish who will now make a maiden appearance in the PDC World Championship.

Smith spoke afterwards and paid credit not only to his opponent but also the CDC (Championship Darts Circuit). He said that the Guam born thrower deserved to win.

Also that for him he believes players in North America should all play on the circuit in order to progress in their careers.

“I’d love to have that last dart all over again,” reflected Smith. “Danny played awesome all week and he deserved to win.

“There’s a lot of great players in North America and if you want to further your progression, you’ve got to get into the CDC.”
