Jeff Smith currently leads proceedings in the latest PDC Home Tour Play-Offs group after claiming back-to-back wins to begin his campaign.
Smith began with a 6-1 win over Chris Dobey who came into tonight as a potential favourite to move through but the Canadian showed his class with a 100 average to add his first points on the board early doors.
He followed that up with victory over Martijn Kleermaker. The Dutchman was 4-1 up and missed seven match darts en route but ‘The Silencer’ took advantage and claimed a 6-5 to take control at the halfway stage.
Joe Cullen himself got off and running to begin the night with a 6-3 victory over Kleermaker 6-3 hitting a 94.5 average and a high checkout of 108 en route.
