Phil Taylor is through to a showdown tonight with Gary Anderson, ‘The Power’ kept the fairytale alive of a final World Championship win in his final tournament and it could be a possibility considering Taylor’s great 4-0 win against a potentially tricky opponent in Keegan Brown and Anderson seemingly having lower back problems in his 4-2 win with Steve West.
Even Taylor now is starting to believe he can do it but says while he feels like he can whether he can or not is another matter and admits that he will just be going out there ‘with a big smile on his face’ and hopes the crowd will help.
“I am starting to believe I can win. It’s weird. I said today that I think I can actually have a go at this; whether I can or not, I don’t know, but I feel like I can,” said Taylor.
“If my confidence is up and I can play properly then I think I can give them a game. I can win it.
“I’m going to go out with a big smile on my face, and if I start losing the crowd will get on my side and if I start winning the crowd will get on my side, so I’m going to enjoy the next game.”
