Mensur Suljovic got another points haul smashing Peter Wright last night in Leeds. A 7-1 victory for the Austrian spelled misery for Wright who was out of sorts.

Suljovic wasn’t like his moniker The Gentle suggests though, a 103 average with 54% on the doubles showed a ruthless side.

He spoke afterwards saying despite Wright not playing well he is really happy to win and that he is ready for the Premier League now.

“Today Peter didn’t play well but I am so happy to win,” said the Champions League winner.

“I beat Peter Wright and I am so happy to be in the Premier League, I am ready for the Premier League now.”
