Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld played each other three times over the last few days during an exhibition tour in The Netherlands.
‘The Power’ managed to beat his Dutch rival at all occasions. Taylor defeated Van Barneveld on the opening night with 11-5, and won on the other two nights with 9-2 and 6-2. On the third day the 16-time world champion played Michael van Gerwen as well, but the current world number one beat Taylor in front of his own Dutch crowd.
Three-time Glen Durrant also made two appearances and defeated crowd favourite Vincent van der Voort twice. Darryl Fitton played three times and beat Van der Voort on the opening night. ‘The Dazzler’ played two times against emerging star Wessel Nijman, with both of them winning one match. Martin Adams won all his three games against former UK Open champion Roland Scholten.
