Phil Taylor is set to return to the soft tip circuit for one of the biggest events on the DartsLive calendar in Super Darts 2020, it has been revealed.
Taylor previously played in the event in 2018 and had a remarkable run against many of the best players in the world in Soft Tip reaching the final but ultimately losing out to Japanese ace, Haruki Muramatsu.
“Super Darts is a wonderful tournament. The atmosphere and the excitement, it is one of the greatest tournaments. I will be back in Super Darts to claim the title as I couldn’t win it in 2018. I will play my best to be Super Darts Champion,” said Taylor.
Other players involved include new PDC Tour Card holder, Boris Krcmar; as well as Kai Fan Leung, Mikuru Suzuki and Paul Lim as the best of the best in soft tip come together on March 13 and 14.
It was revealed soon after the initial announcement that he will be playing Tengku Shah, former PDC World Championship participant in the first round.
