Due to Coronavirus, for the time being there is no darts currently on television. DartsNews as a result takes a look into history to look at some of the best moments from the past.

Paul Nicholson’s best known triumph came in 2010 during the Players Championship Finals which took place at the prestigious Circus Tavern and along the way, he was at his brilliant best when he saw off Phil Taylor in the semi-finals.

Taylor was the reigning champion in the event which took place in January back then before two events were iterated in a year which included Kevin Painter’s triumph in 2011.

Despite that though, Nicholson came through a run which saw him defeat Dennis Priestley, Steve Beaton and Adrian Lewis before coming up against ‘The Power’.

The top seed took on the 21st seed and it was an absolute thriller. The match has been uploaded in full on PDC’s YouTube channel. You can view it below:
