We take a look at another throwback video as the PDC World Championship comes ever closer, this time it is Phil Taylor’s first ever World title in the PDC back in 1995.

Taylor was seeded fourth for the tournament when it was back in a group format and he defeated American players Sean Downs and Gerald Verrier.

From there, ‘The Power’ defeated Bob Anderson in the Quarter-Finals, before defeating John Lowe. Rod Harrington then lost out 6-2 in the final with 13 more coming before the end of Taylor’s career.
