The competition previously known as the PDC Fishing Championship has returned for this year with the Target Sport Stars Fishing Championship set to take place this week.
It brings together stars from multiple different sports to fish for charity; where money is then raised for a good cause. It will be held on August 6 this year; the proceeds will go to Parkinson’s UK.
Betfred also recently raised money for the charity at the World Matchplay through the 180’s hit so there will be further money raised this week.
Participants include PDC chairman Barry Hearn, 16-time world champion Phil Taylor, two-time world champion Adrian Lewis; as well as nine-time major winner James Wade, former Lakeside champion Stephen Bunting and former News of the World champion Bobby George.
David Seaman formally of Arsenal and England; Mark Williams who is a former three time snooker world champion; as well as Steve Davis who himself won the Snooker World Championship six times also participate from other sports.
