The UK Open Qualifier 4 line up is now officially confirmed and includes two surprising names and two big names left battling it out for the £10,000 prize come the end of the day.

Those are Rob Cross and Gary Anderson who are the World’s top 3 and 4 respectively who up to now didn’t have their spot at the UK Open and have had to battle through the field to gain some money to confirm their spot.

Both players came through tough Quarter-Finals with Cross defeating Krzysztof Ratajski 6-4 as ‘Voltage’ slayed ‘The Polish Eagle’ and Anderson defeated James Wade who is returning to form after a poor 12 months.

The other two players are Jeffrey de Zwaan and Jason Lowe. De Zwaan is a well known name but his performances have been surprising, he holds one of the highest tournament averages of today and defeated Jamie Lewis to get through 6-4.

Lowe on the other hand is a surprise, a player who has played on the Challenge Tour recently has had a dream run and continued that by defeating the returning Adrian Lewis 6-2. The players were locked at 2-2 at one point but Lowe then reeled off 4 legs on the spin to close it out.

Last Eight
Jeffrey de Zwaan 6 | 4 Jamie Lewis
Jason Lowe 6 | 2 Adrian Lewis
Rob Cross 6 | 4 Krzysztof Ratajski
James Wade 4 | 6 Gary Anderson
