The Last 32 is completed with only a few unseeded players left in the tournaments including Martin Schindler, Vincent Kamphuis and David Evans who have all assured their place in the UK Open potentially with their runs.
The likes of Rob Cross, Corey Cadby and Michael Smith are all through as well with a potential Quarter-Final spot after the next round. Cadby surged past Darren Johnson 6-3 with an 107 average compared to Johnson’s 100.
Cross defeated Stefan Nilles but despite his seemingly flawless couple of rounds only averaged 89 in his victory with his opponent at 86.7.
Peter Wright defeated Ian White with a brilliant 110 average in a hotly contested game which had 110 to 108 with the winner despite these close averages winning 6-3.
In the next round Cadby will play Whitlock, Smith will play Henderson and in an unseeded battle, Kamphuis plays Schindler as the field continues to narrow down.
