The draw for the UK Open beginning next month has been released for Round 1 and Round 2 which sees the 33-96 players as well as the Riley’s Qualifiers enter the fray.

The qualifiers for the UK Open finished yesterday and so barring a few Riley’s players still to be decided, we now know the players battling it out for the top prize in Minehead.

In terms of the first round, stand out games include Lee Evans vs Dimitri van den Bergh. Evans is no stranger to the UK Open and has qualified for the first time as an professional. He will face van den Bergh and with the game potentially on the main stage it could see the best out of the young Belgian.

Bradley Brooks, the 17 year old who recently won his tour card will face Chris Quantock in another game to watch in the battle of the young guns.

Paul Nicholson, a former Major winner will take on a former multiple time major finalist Terry Jenkins who is back on the big stage again after going back on potential retirement.

The UK Open Qualifier from Wolverhampton will take on John Part with the Canadian returning to a major for the first time in 3 years. Finally Andy Hamilton will play in the tournament as an amateur and will take on William O’Connor.
