Vincent van der Voort returned to the European Tour yesterday and did so well with a 6-4 win over Steve Lennon and a 103 average.

This is good for ‘The Dutch Destroyer’ who has shown glimmers of form only for him to fall away again. Van der Voort will play Rob Cross today and he spoke afterwards in a funny interview with Dan Dawson.
On his form, he said ‘I played so much beep in my past few months’ said the Dutchman. ‘I couldn’t find the motivation’
‘I was trying hard and I was working hard’ ‘After a couple of months, I thought about doing something different’ he continued.
Finally he spoke about the World Championships as well as the Pro Tour weekends: ‘I thought at the World’s I played superb, against Raymond I thought I played beep’
‘You don’t want to be there, Barnsley and Wigan are the worst towns in the world’
