Michael van Gerwen will take on Mensur Suljovic with both players facing battles as the Premier League concludes before the play-offs at the O2 with the final leg in Leeds.
A draw at least will put pressure on Rob Cross who tops the table currently to win in the final game of the night and he says that he can only blame himself for it going down to the wire.
He hopes as well that his experience beforehand will help him and he will hope to pile the pressure on him going into ‘Voltage’s clash with the in-form James Wade.
“I can only blame myself for being in this position – I lost too many points this year,” said Van Gerwen.
“I think I can make up the point difference on Rob, I’ve been there before and I know what it takes so I will hopefully pile the pressure onto him with a win over Mensur.”
