Michael Van Gerwen has never won the Champions League in it’s relatively short history but he will aim to add one of the only remaining titles not in his collection this weekend in Leicester.
PaddyPower believe he will with the title sponsors for the event at the Morningside Arena putting him at even odds to finally win the title after his World Grand Prix triumph.
Reigning champion Gary Anderson and Rob Cross, current World Matchplay champion are next up both at 7/1. Then it is former champion Peter Wright with Daryl Gurney and Gerwyn Price both out at 12/1.
Michael Smith and James Wade are the outsiders for the title despite both players having big stage form. It all begins on Saturday as the tournament debuts in Leicester with two days of action continuing the slew of majors in the coming months.
