Michael van Gerwen lost out to Nathan Aspinall losing his 100 percent record in the Premier League last night in Cardiff.

Van Gerwen ended up on the receiving end of a 7-5 defeat and he took to Twitter to give his reaction to ‘The Asp’ claiming the two points and he alluded to going through his transition phase with his darts while of course giving the UK Open champion credit.

“Wasn’t to be this evening, full credit to Nathan (Aspinall) he stepped in when I missed. Well done mate. I said there would be ups and downs but I’m not far away. But never look back, always look forward.”

His attention like Aspinall will turn to the Players Championship events this weekend with another double header in store. MVG has not won a title yet this season so far, can that change this weekend?
