The betting odds have been released for the European Championship which takes place this weekend in Gottingen and sees the best of the best from the European Tour fight it out for the title.
Michael van Gerwen, who this past weekend claimed the Champions League of Darts title in Leicester is odds on favourite to claim victory and re-claim his title.
Then it is the turn of Rob Cross who is currently 8/1, he has not won a European Tour title yet but has been in good form this year winning the World Matchplay.
The same can be said for Peter Wright, who recently hit a record broadcast average but was agonisingly denied once again in the final of the Champions League of Darts. He will aim to put that right this weekend.
Mensur Suljovic, Nathan Aspinall, Daryl Gurney and defending champion James Wade are among those further down. As are Dave Chisnall, Krzysztof Ratajski and Ian White; all of whom have won European Tour titles this season.
The same can be said for Joe Cullen and Jamie Hughes who could potentially be shrewd bets at 80/1. Ted Evetts and Ross Smith are seen as the real outsiders at 250/1 and 300/1.
