The penultimate night of action in the Remote Darts League took place on Saturday night with Richard Veenstra now assured of a place in the play-offs after claiming five points.
A win then against Joe Chaney was enough to secure this play-off spot. Despite surviving match darts, he then hit a 119 checkout for the win.
The last night will be played on Sunday. James Richardson has already secured his spot in the play-offs but can secure first place having won the first iteration. Paul Hogan seems destined for a spot so John O’Shea or Jim Williams will claim the final spot.
In the first phase of the Remote Darts League which sees twenty evenings, all participants play against each other once. Four players are involved per night, with each player completing three matches. Matches are best of 10 legs, so a 5-5 draw is possible.
After twenty days of action, the top four in the league will advance to the playoffs, which are scheduled for Monday, June 8.
All matches can be viewed via this link . The broadcast starts daily at 9pm BST.
