James Wade picked up a draw to edge himself closer to the playoffs at the O2 but he was frustrated after sharing the spoils with Michael Smith.

This was mainly due to how he played according to the Machine and that in his opinion Smith played better than he did.

“It’s a frustrating result,” said Wade, the 2009 Premier League champion.

“I got a point, which I guess is quite important at this stage of the season, but I’m not happy with how I played.

“Michael played better than me but I was fortunate he didn’t hit his doubles.”
