The final of Players Championship 22 is confirmed with Jermaine Wattimena set to face off against Brendan Dolan in the second event in Hildesheim.

Wattimena came from 4-0 down to move ahead against Mensur Suljovic; but was forced into a deciding leg by ‘The Gentle’ and the latter put himself into an excellent position to win.

Only for ‘Machine Gun’ to smash in a 111 checkout to claim the tie; also overcome a bad record against Suljovic including getting smashed recently at the World Matchplay 10-1. He will now have a perfect opportunity to claim a first PDC title; one that many will argue he is deserving of.

He will face off though against Dolan who has had an excellent day and that continues. He eased past Cody Harris who is only in his second event this year as a reserve player; but is still known as a class act.

It was 7-3 in the end with a 100 average; with Harris missing the vital chances to get close to the Northern Irishman. ‘The History Maker’ will now get his chance to claim a first title in 5 years.
