Lorraine Winstanley took part in 2020 Q-School as she attempted to claim her PDC Tour Card for the second time.
Winstanley wasn’t successful in claiming her PDC Tour Card but really enjoyed the experience especially playing in the high quality competition in Wigan.
“It’s always a great experience. It’s lovely to play under professional conditions and know exactly what’s happening and being surrounded by so many great players as well, it all adds to the experience,” said the former World Master to Sky Sports.
“You have to try and take the positives away, even though the results don’t quite go your way so I don’t feel disheartened at all, it’s all positive and I’m looking forward to the rest of the year.
In terms of her future darts, the Buxton ace said that she will be combining the Challenge Tour with the new WDF calendar and that she will plan accordingly as a result.
“I’m hoping to do both. I won’t be doing all the Challenge Tours because with the World Darts Federation announcing the new calendar, that looks like it could be very busy.
“It’s going to take a bit of planning. It’s not just three or four tournaments you would be going to as we have following the BDO system over the last few years. It’s going to be an interesting year I think.”Tags: 2020 PDC Q-School, Lorraine Winstanley
