Peter Wright eased past Max Hopp to end the second night of action at the World Grand Prix in Dublin but despite that he admits improvement is needed.

Wright’s issues came at the end of the game when he missed multiple match darts and he said that while it was a good win; the performance could have been better.

Despite that he said that getting through to the next round is all that counts as he will take on Jermaine Wattimena next.

“It’s a good win for me because it’s always tough in the first round, so I’m happy,” said Wright. “The performance could have been better, but I’m through and that’s all that matters.”
