Peter Wright and Gerwyn Price have reached the final of the fifth Players Championship event and will battle for the title on Saturday.
Price survived four match-darts against Steve Lennon as he came through a leg-decider. The Iceman was 4-6 down, before winning three legs on the spin. Lennon had four match-darts in the tenth leg, but was unable to hit the winning double. Price took out 20 to level the match and hit a 13-darter in the final leg to win the match.
Wright defeated Devon Petersen, who reached his first semi-final on the PDC Pro Tour. Snakebite broke Petersen’s throw in the 11th leg, before holding his own throw with a 13-dart leg to reach the final in Wigan.
