Peter Wright has been playing some stunning darts as of late and case and point came during his tie against Adrian Gray where he claimed a whitewash win over ‘The Conqueror’.
It wasn’t the margin of victory though that was the most impressive at Players Championship 5 but his average.
His average kept increasing towards the end and his average was between 125 and 150 per leg at one point with only the final leg meaning he couldn’t break his own record average in a broadcast game.
He missed one dart at tops to do so hitting a 15 darter to clinch it after a seriously impressive display. Can Wright go all the way today in Wigan?
