Peter Wright and Gary Anderson continued their progression in the World Cup of Darts this afternoon with a clean sweep victory over the Swedish pair of Magnus Caris and Dennis Nilsson.

Wright spoke to Sky Sports afterwards and paid tribute to his partner. He spoke about how much of an honour it is to play with the former 2x World Champion and that in his eyes he is the best player in the world.
‘I’m just honoured to play with Gary (Anderson) this year’ said Wright to Sky Sports.
‘He hasn’t played in many tournaments this year. I’m glad he’s put the practice in and coming out with me to play in the World Cup.’
‘It’s a privilege to play with this man. We all know he’s the best player in the world and it’s good to see him back on TV.’
