"It was NOT OK to grab me and pull me away" - Referee Kirk Bevins involved in altercation with fan at Austrian Darts Open

Last weekend the fifth tournament of this year's European Tour campaign was played out in Graz. Victory at the Austrian Darts Open went to Luke Littler, who was too strong for Joe Cullen in the final, 8-4.

One of the referees on duty in Austria was Kirk Bevins. 'The Kirkulator' revealed he was 'grabbed and pulled away' by a fan there while posing for a photo. And the 37-year-old made it clear on social media that such behavior is not okay.

He wrote on X: "To the Austrian darts 'fan' who grabbed me and pulled me away from her mate having a photo with me and Huw Ware when he asked us both for a photo...just because I wasn't in my PDC uniform and you didn't know who I was...it was NOT OK to grab me and pull me away."
