Striking statistic shows why Luke Littler took overall victory at Austrian Darts Open

Last weekend Luke Littler managed to crown himself the winner of the Austrian Darts Open. In the final of the European Tour tournament in Graz, he was an 8-4 winner over Joe Cullen.

In a post by statistics platform Darts Orakel, an important factor emerges to explain the success of 'The Nuke'. Indeed, during the Austrian Darts Open, he managed to break the throw in two-thirds of the legs played in which his opponent started the leg.

Earlier it was announced that Littler also played a role in breaking a Euro Tour record. Thanks to the 21 180-scores of the 17-year-old Englishman at the Austrian Darts Open, a record number of 180-scores was thrown at a Euro Tour tournament.
