Colin Lloyd and Martin Atkins among first players to sign up for Q-School

The first players have been revealed for 2018 Q-School and they include two names, 1 returning to the tour and 1 joining the tour.

Colin 'Jaws' Lloyd left the tour 2 years ago but has returned after previously admitting that the hunger was returning and that he was playing well in the exhibition work he has been doing and was the 3rd name to sign up and there is expected to be a hell of a lot more players joining or returning due to the entry fees being abolished.

Also joining the tour for the first time is the first BDO switcher in what is rumoured to be quite a few in 'The Assassin' Martin Atkins. The 51 year old has played most of the BDO tour including the World Trophy and many last 16 and 32 appearances in such tournaments as the England Masters, Hal Open and German Open but has decided to give the PDC tour a go for the first time after playing his whole career in the BDO.

In terms of the Euro Q-School, some big names have signed up including Nico Blum, the young German who has impressed on the Euro Tour this year, Thomas Junghans of Switzerland, Dirk van Duijvenbode and Jeffrey de Zwaan as well who will be aiming to win their tour cards back after narrowly missing out on keeping them.
