Double Dutch delight as Wessel Nijman and Jeffrey de Zwaan first winners at Austrian Darts Open

To begin the day at the Austrian Darts Open, it was Double Dutch delight as Wessel Nijman and Jeffrey de Zwaan found their way into the second day of action in Graz. They defeated Romeo Grbavac and Karel Sedlacek respectively to begin the day.

Nijman in particular impressed. He saw off Grbavac on his European Tour return with a 95 average as well as six 180's, two ton plus checkouts and 42.9% on the outer ring in a pretty superb display from the young Dutchman who rises again this season after being banned for a few years from the tour. He is bringing the form that he showed on the Development Tour out onto the European Tour stage.

Another player hoping to do similar is a certain Black Cobra. Seeing off Karel Sedlacek, it was a similarly superb display from Jeffrey de Zwaan. The former prodigious talent saw off 'Evil Charlie' 6-3 with a 99.2 average and three 180's. Two superb displays to start the day and both from Dutchman.
