Gerwyn Price to upset sea of orange in Rotterdam? Glen Durrant stays loyal in Premier League Darts pick

Gerwyn Price was picked by Glen Durrant last week to upset the odds and win a Premier League night and ahead of the Rotterdam Ahoy with the sea of orange baying for Michael van Gerwen, he sees an improvement on a final run last week.

Speaking to SBK, Durrant said that he sees Van Gerwen potentially not having the best time given that he openly doesn't like playing in his home country and that Michael Smith will look to continue his hoodoo over Luke Littler. But that with Rob Cross on a losing run, there is a gap for a certain Welshman to squeeze through.

"The highlight is Game Four which is Mighty Michael van Gerwen v Luke Humphries and what a game that is going to be. Mighty Mike has openly admitted he doesn't like playing in Holland due to all the pressure that comes with it. Well he did win the Dutch Darts Masters in Den Bosch and he'll be hoping to repeat that tonight but it'll be a tough ask against Luke Humphries," said Durrant to SBK.

"Opening up the show is Luke Littler v Michael Smith. Has Michael Smith got his number? Four times they've met and three times Michael Smith has got over the winning line. That could go the distance."

"I'm going to be loyal. I'm going to stick with Gerwyn Price, he was unlucky in Manchester reaching the final. I think he gets over the line here. I think Gerwyn goes on to win the night."
